Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America. It is located along the border between California and Nevada. Master Ou visits Lake Tahoe for short vacation many times. Every time when he was there, he was deeply touched by the beauty of the lake, and the intention to praise the lake with a song was brewed.

In April 2009, when Master Ou visited Lake Tahoe again, facing the magnificent snow-topped mountains, the vast clear blue sky, and the emerald-liked clean water, he could not hold but praise the heavenly landscape by writing his new song “Beautiful Lake Tahoe”.

In April 6 of 2010, Master Ou brought 10 of his students who visited him from China to Lake Tahoe. On a Gondola observation deck at Heavenly, gazing down at the spectacular sights of the entire lake, Master Ou sang “Beautiful Lake Tahoe” with great passion.  Several tourists were attracted immediately, and listen to his singing quietly with appreciation. Afterward, a senior lady came to one of Master Ou’s interpreters and told the interpreter that she loved the song and his singing. When the interpreter told the lady that the song was composed by Master Ou himself, the lady smiled and said, “I can tell. I am a retired music editor.”

On the next day, we went to Emerald bay, the most beautiful coast line of Lake Tahoe. Facing the bay, Master Ou and his students sang the song “Beautiful Lake Tahoe” again. A young American couple was attracted by the singing immediately. They walked close to Master Ou and listen to his singing quietly. They gave a burst of applause after he sang, and said, “It’s excellent!”

In fact, I can tell that the man of the couple felt something else from the song. As fans and students of Master Ou, we all know what it is. It is the powerful healing energy that can adjust one’s physical health and spiritual health.
